Henry and his school friends came to the mansion. They were welcomed by Aling Marisa,
“Welcome to our mansion, kids”
The head house-maid phoned Orion and she informed,
“Sir, the kids are here. Which room should they occupy?”
“At the living room, Aling Marisa” Orion replied.
Aling Marisa ushered Henry’s group towards their living room. Two other maids at the kitchen prepared two pitchers of orange juice and baked a prepared meat lover’s pizza for them. One of the maids gossiped about the guests,
“I think one of our young master’s guests is a celebrity or something”
“No, she’s you know, a girl in many costumes, like Myrtle” the other maid replied.
“B-but she doesn’t look Filipina to me”
The old head house-maid interrupted their gossip,
“Oi, Isabella! Doree! Enough chatter, Henry’s friends might be hungry anytime soon!”
The gossiping maids nodded, then served two pitchers of orange juice, and the freshly-heated meat lovers’ pizza to the guests.
Orion went downstairs, and sat in a comfy armchair. Orion didn’t wear his infamous white hair dye and his white fur coat, in respect to Henry’s classmates and to the rest of the household. Orion talked first,
“You are all here today because of this very important matter... You’ve been with Henry for days, and NOAH is going strong as of this day. I, as a businessman, the head developer, the admin, and the boss, cannot afford to see my beloved second universe be broken prematurely”
Orion brought out a special non-disclosure agreement legal contract. Henry and his friends were shocked at the contract, that their entire group will have to sign it. Henry’s father told them,
“All right kids, whatever you hear or read from my son about NOAH, never tell anyone about it, no matter how big their offers are, okay?”
Orion looked sharp at Hatsumi and he added,
“Hatsumi, I know you’ve featured this game once, and I am warning you not to squeal any future content related to this game, or else... both of us will be stressed”
After reprimanding Hatsumi, he glanced at Henry and then he commanded,
“Henry, please give me your yellow NOAH Book for now, then I will temporarily suspend your GM rights. You won’t be GM-Iota for now until we clear this up, okay?”
Henry looked down, felt bad about his punishment. He imagined his in-game self being embraced by the Grandmaster, only to be put unconscious with a magical force.
“Yes dad...” Henry humbly answered.
The disappointed former game content writer handed his development book to his father, and sat beside Hatsumi with a frown face. Hatsumi consoled Henry and she whispered,
“Henry, we’ll still push the project... Apparently, it’ll be better for all of us”
Henry and his friends signed the non-disclosure agreement contract. Orion thought to himself as he watched Henry’s group signing the contract,
“I am in doubt whether I do the right thing. Would it be right for NOAH to be unreceptive to its players, even though I have Eden to handle the world? I should have thought of using Henry, and hundreds more of players worldwide to aid me and Eden in building NOAH to its best”
Unexpectedly, Orion’s cellphone rang and it turned out to be his game moderator, Lisanna,
“Grandmaster! Ten stat-hackers detected in Kanpeki Sekai! They are capable of bypassing combat restrictions placed in the safe zone, and so far they have nailed down 150 players”
“Spawn killers, and they’re so determined to screw the hell out of my world!” Orion exclaimed, and dragged everyone to the NOAH Core.
At the NOAH Core, Orion ran to his heavily-customized terminal and played as its game master form, Grandmaster. Orion, the cool father, warned the kids,
“This is one of the things you should not squeal at all costs. This very heart of the universe must not be unveiled to anyone!”
Henry’s team nodded in silence, as they watched Orion deal with the hackers in the game.

The Grandmaster appeared behind the hacked campers. He donned an extremely distinct clothing, and a unique weapon tailored for him. He has long yet smooth face, white curly mid-split hairstyle, thick-framed round eyeglasses, and donned a special hakama that it came from a vinta boat’s sail. The Grandmaster’s unique weapon turned out to be a seven-feet tall, shiny pearly-white pizza cutter wielded like a one-handed sword.
“Administrative operations set, Grandmaster is automatically authorized” Eden, the godly operatic voice spoke to the Grandmaster.
“Okay, Eden... Time to end their ultra-kills, and this will take ‘em to Killemanjaro!” the Grandmaster uttered wildly.
The topless Grandmaster snarled at the stat-hacked avatars, especially to the slender, near-realistic avatar with a long face named AushMariano420. AushMariano420’s cohorts dashed backwards and they all cried green binary numbers, as an indication of stat change. Lisanna informed the Grandmaster,
“Eklokok’s handgun attack is set to 9000! Shunga-ka’s handgun attack is also set to 9000! Adrian4Lyf’s (Adrian for Life), Kirit0z1990’s (Kiritoz 1990), TehPwningPNOY’s (De pawning Pinoy), Ohbummer420’s (Oh bummer 420), Lembot’s, Dabarkads0418, NomoDakkaDakka’s, and AushMariano420’s handgun attacks are all at 9000 points. All of them have illegally-installed high jumps, agility stats at 580, and--”
The Grandmaster interrupted her report with a laugh,
“No matter how they raise parameters, the game will never permit them to exist!”
“Don’t be so cocky about that, GM! Think about the children!” Lisanna yelled.
The gun-totting stat-hacked avatars rained the Grandmaster with bullets. NomoDakkaDakka, the pale green Orc gangster, cussed,
“What the heck? He’s enjoying it!”
The Grandmaster grinned at the stunned offenders, and he violently launched the pizza cutter’s blade towards two of the hacked avatars. Eklokok and Adrian4Lyf were unfortunately caught by the administrator-powered weapon, cut into half and exploded into green crystalline hexagonal chips. With the pizza cutter sword’s blade gone, the Grandmaster held it like a gatling gun. The surviving hackers surrounded him, and they jumped simultaneously. While in mid-air, the gun-totting hackers rained the Grandmaster down with bullets.
“Administrative order: Targeted lag, Severity: downloading the Pirate Bay, Targets: All known offenders within my coordinates!” the badass Grandmaster commanded Lisanna and Gregorio.
“You sure about this, master? We might be angering their respective internet cafes!” Lisanna asked.
“Yea, I can’t afford to see them racking up newbie kills, Liz” the Grandmaster answered.
The hackers tried to spam more hacked shots but their actions have been delayed due to organized lag. Adding to the insult on the hackers, they’re still stuck in mid-air. The Grandmaster screamed “BAN... CANNON!” and he simply fired his weapon onto the hackers. The projectile he fired was a well-formed, controlled, purple, hi-velocity antimatter wave extremely threw Shunga-ka to the sky due to impact.
“Your name is offensive to our fellow Filipino players, farewell!” Lisanna yelled at the flown third offender.
Shunga-ka exploded into green crystal fragments after reaching the highest altitude due to the Grandmaster’s Ban-Cleaver Cannon’s force. Adrian4Lyf and Kirit0z1990 were blown away right after Shunga-ka’s explosion.

The internet personality named Josh Clarence Mariano quickly took off his computer’s network cable in hopes of saving his avatar from termination. He watched his fellow hackers shatter into green crystals. Josh thought to himself,
“At least, I’m able to crush Adrian’s rep using his face in this new game!”

The Grandmaster saw AushMariano420 forcibly disconnected from the game, then Lisanna reported,
“We have placed their IP addresses on the watchlists! AushMariano420’s address has been recorded in spite of ban evasion”
“Canceling issued orders, keep watching...” the Grandmaster ordered.

Hatsumi suddenly uttered about the offender,
“Mariano... T-that’s one of my subscribers!”
“Aush Mariano?” Romeo verified.
Hatsumi nodded, and she added,
“Aush Mariano, he’s a memetic net-video personality who tends to attach his faces to any media, like he assumed to be Iron Man, or he drew himself as Kirizan of Sword Artz”
“Aush Mariano for me is a deliberately-bad Photoshopper that ascended towards memetic status” Henry joined.
Cody suddenly spoke,
“Too bad that I met the guy behind that memetic account, he isn’t really the guy being used in his Photoshop antics”
“T-then who is he for real?” Hatsumi gained interest.
“He is still a Mariano, but the face he tends to use is from another hapless My FriendBook user, named Adrian Oropeza”
Orion overheard the group’s conversation and snapped,
“Adrian Oropeza, Mariano... He pulled off a form of identity theft! He may be carrying his name, but he’s using someone’s face”
Orion stood up and informed the kids to ascend above-ground, and let him think over the matters about the latest offender...
Back to the living room, Henry and his friends started planning for their music project,
“Henry, so far, what is your avatar wearing?” Hatsumi asked.
“Ummm... white short-sleeved fitted frilly polo shirt, blue necktie, navy blue cotton mid-length shorts with detachable suspenders, and shin-high leather boots” Henry answered.
“Henry, replace the boots with plain leather black shoes. Actually, we’re going to cosplay as our in-game selves too”
Mikhail, Rick, Romeo, and Cody got their jaws dropped upon hearing their plan of cosplaying as their NOAH avatars.
“Y-you guys are serious about this?” Mikhail asked.
“Yeah Mick” Hatsumi chuckled.
Romeo stared at Henry, imagined him wearing his avatar’s costume, and he thought,
“Henry looks so adorable, he has nice legs, b-but... he’s kinda shy to bear that outfit!”
“Hatsumi, I think Henry will be needing knee-high white socks if you are serious about dressing him up as your prince charming” Romeo suggested, in a chuckling manner.
Hatsumi glanced at Henry, and imagined him cosplaying as his in-game avatar, with knee-high socks added, and she smiled at Romeo’s suggestion. Rick broke their costume discussion,
“Ummm... guys? I think you should start considering the musical instruments to be used”
“Oh crap, we forgot about that!” Romeo replied, and slapped his face.
“Tch! So much for planning Hatsya to dress up as a girly man, eh?” Mikhail sneered.
Hatsumi grabbed one of her notebooks, and tried hitting Mikhail’s head with it playfully. Henry finally spoke up,
“Hmmm... Let’s recall... Hatsumi and I will be of course the vocals, and the performers for the MTV, right?”
Hatsumi and others nodded, then Henry added,
“Cody, you’ll be our cameraman”
“Ummm... Hats, as in he’ll be our screen capturer, or for the scenes outside the game?” Hatsumi asked.
“Just in case your fan in Osaka isn’t online and willing to stream our antics, Cody will be our cameraman online, and offline” Henry answered.
Hatsumi declined,
“Just no, Hats. Raven might reuse our footage for Hye-sung’s NOAH avatar abuse videos, y’know, the so-called ‘ryona’ videos”
She finally settled for their assignments,
“Okay, we’re the performers, and we have Romeo as our guitarist, Cody as our cameraman, Mikhail and Rick will be the bassist, and second guitarist”
Mikhail yawned a bit, and he blurted out,
“Wait a minute, I am not sure if our teacher will allow us to use music generators, since not all of us can buy stuff just for this project!”
“That’s a decent idea guys, though the problem is, make sure that your generated music must sync to Romeo’s tune, okay?” Henry approved.
Mikhail and Rick nodded, then they asked Hatsumi for a copy of their song. Fifteen minutes after, Hatsumi and the rest of their friends bid farewell to Henry and to his family.
Early evening, Henry logged into the game at Hatsya, and he changed his avatar’s clothes to Hatsumi’s suggested outfit. The owner of the child-like anime avatar smiled, due to its noble, yet vulnerable, unsuitable for any virtual carnage.

Hatsya spawned at Canopy 5 of the Walled Metropolis, and immediately welcomed by Hatsumi. This time, Hatsumi wore her pink short-sleeved shirt, and black mid-length cycling shorts. Hatsya asked,
“Hatsumi, why aren’t you in your costume?”
“T-this game doesn’t have medieval armor for me to use. I thought they have all types of costume for us to wear...”
Henry sighed, and then he asked,
“Say, shall we grind in the Forest of Rocks?”
Hatsumi nodded, and then the two went outside the Walled Metropolis.

The two went to the forest, and something changed. Few paces away from them, a glowy green holographic giant sequoia tree stood tall amongst the jungle trees. The holographic tree isn’t in the original development of the game, now it brought mysteries to its players. The two went closer to the holographic tree and waited for their online friends.

At the NOAH Core, Orion went to their game’s official community forums, and read the latest posts. It seemed that many of the threads are questioning the Holographic Tree's existence. Orion selected the most active 'Holographic Tree' speculation and discussion thread, and he stated to the players,
The Akashic memories of Brygul planet were awakened by Eden himself.
Sometimes, it pays to read the stories related to the entire NOAH universe. We don't create new instance maps for nothing, this is not one of those theme-park online roleplaying games that the Westerners kept dissing to death.
NOAH did not exist to merely compete with other online role-playing games, especially to America's World of Wazeroth, as we are aiming something different. Players may of course take part in the universe's story, or can be in the universe and make their own.

Eisen, Hotaru, Crio, and Evyll arrived at the Forest of Rocks. Rick's avatar in the game is Crio, a white-haired teenager wearing a sleek shiny blue light power suit, armed with a saber. Cody's in-game avatar is Evyll; a flightless angel wearing black hooded jacket, checkered long-sleeved shirt, denim pants, and simple sneakers. Around them, other players on the map gathered around the mysterious holographic tree.
Hatsumi immediately touched the holographic tree, and their group vanished in an instant. Other players started touching the tree, and they were taken to a new world...

Hatsumi's party ended up in the same location, but it was different. The holographic tree they've touched in the original world became a real giant sequoia tree, and the forest seemed to be defiled with downed ships, dead animals and destroyed war machines. Hatsya remembered something from his development notes before it was confiscated,
“According to the notes, aliens, including us humans, tried to coexist alongside them, but it all ended up in a bloody war”
Hatsumi looted a whole suit of armor from a nearby female knight corpse. The armor comprised of gold decorative breastplate for girls, golden vambraces with flower petals on the cuffs, a pair of golden cuisses, and gold tipped solerets. She approached Hatsya and asked,
“Now, do I look like your knight in shining armor this time?”
Hatsya nodded at her, and they explored the alternate world.
While exploring the war-struck forest, a pack of bears with mounted tank turrets suddenly fired at them.
“Ursapanzers!” Eisen uttered, and he bravely charged towards the tank turret-mounted bears.
Eisen performed his Brullenkomet technique onto three Ursapanzers, but the fourth monster fired its 64mm turret on him. The cocky lancer got knocked out by the bear's mounted cannon. Evyll ran towards Eisen and healed him. Hatsumi, Hatsya, Crio rushed towards the rest of the armored bears, while Hotaru provided cover fire by raining down embers on the monsters.
Hatsya, the fencer, cut the tank bear's eyes, and lunged its rapier to its forehead. Hatsumi brought out her hammer and knocked the monster's chin. However, both bears fired their mounted guns onto the two, violently throwing them back. Eisen teased,
“Hats, I told you! Your fancy weapon isn't working on those bears! How much more for a batt--”
Eisen is interrupted by one of the surviving Ursapanzers. The monster fired its cannon onto him, but Evyll saved him with a frontal barrier spell in the nick of time. Crio rode on Hotaru's back as an offensive playable mount. Crio ordered Hotaru,
“Prepare your Mount form skill-set! We're barging through!”
The two rushed towards the Ursapanzers, and rained them down with ember bolts. Hotaru's version of ember bolts as a transformable avatar come out from his mouth instead. The armored bears were set ablaze by the ember bolts, thus damaging them more. Hatsya and Hatsumi got up, and approached the blazing bears for the finish. Evyll stood behind the party, and kept his eyes on them for injuries. Eisen gouged out the first Ursapanzer's eyes, and ended its life by firing a concentrated cone-shaped projectile from his spear. However, all of his Ether reserves were sucked out in the process due to the complexity of the ether art. After defeating the Ursapanzer, Eisen obtained a green camouflaged cannon, and some shells.
Hatsumi channeled her Ether onto her hammer, and uttered “Titan Crush”. The ether-imbued hammer emitted a fiery orange aura, and she crushed another Ursapanzer's head. Crio grabbed Hatsya, and rode on Hotaru's back.
“You are also using a magic sword type, right?” Crio asked.
“Yeah, how do you know?” Hatsya casually answered.
“Rapiers were a part of the magic sword type, alongside with my sword” Crio entertained Hatsya's question.
The surviving Ursapanzer fired its turret on Hotaru and violently alighted the two magic sword users. Crio and Hotaru cast Ember Shower onto the surviving creatures, while Hatsya rushed towards the last Ursapanzer. While at their last breaths, the armored bears fired their last shots on Hatsya.
“Hatsya’s gonna die at this rate!” Evyll commented, while watching the fencer rushing towards the monsters, even though being pushed back by their cannons.
The feeble-looking fencer, Hatsya, rapidly stabbed the burning mobs as if his rapier gained a range boost, and then he performed an Ether Art with a stomp on the ground. Upon impact, a sparkling white electrified energy beam generated right in front of Hatsya, and sent the Ursapanzers flying to the skies, gradually disintegrated. After defeating the first wave, Hatsya lost all of his Ether points, and felt weak and dying due to the effect of the desperation Ether art he pulled off.
“What I have is the a Luminous-based fencer skill set, guys... And it turned out that some of them required me to get damaged often to tap those skills” Hatsya confessed.
In spite of his life-threatening moves, Hatsya acquired a light armor patterned from the Ursapanzers, some potions, a common-grade five-shooter, and yellow mid-length cycling shorts with blue streaks at the sides. Crio on the other hand gained some potions, a pair of armored bear claws, five pieces of bear fur, and a bear’s head that can be synthesized to become a wearable bear head. Hotaru gained 5 EP potions, and a rare avatar change card after battle.
Hotaru the Nyaa-un magician carried Hatsya, saving up their usage of Ether and HP potions. The rest of the party continued venturing the isolated dimension of Forest of Rocks. While wandering, Eisen made fun of Hatsya’s skills,
“Seems that you got yourself a troublesome skill set, eh?”
Hotaru harshly suggested,
“Hats-nya, just keep it up, you’ll be able to untap the rest of your rapier skills. For now, you better start evading often. Yeah, you dress like a wimpy fancypants, and you have that giant needle for fancypants, but your skills are mainly for magic users. You’re a fast, magic-casting damager, not a nuking knight, Hats!”
Crio added,
“Seems that you built your character for a roleplaying server, Hatsya. You won’t survive like that, especially if you’re fighting giant monsters, and the likes of Eisen”
Eisen spoke to Hatsumi,
“Hey, your boyfriend sleeps like a baby at Hotaru’s arms. Is that how you want him dying for the MTV project?”
Hatsumi chuckled,
“Yeah, he looks cute even dead. Though I’d rather have him die at the hands of snipers, than by any other monsters in this game”
Hatsumi looked at the surroundings and she exclaimed,
“This suits well, guys! I think we can have this map!”
“Hope we find humanoid enemies that will render your boyfriend die gloriously” Eisen joked around.
Hatsumi glanced at her in-game boyfriend, and asked,
“You okay now, Hats? You slept well like a baby”
Hotaru put Hatsya on the ground. Finally, the fencer’s hit points, and ether reserves are completely recovered.

Eden brought out a holographic screen, and looked at Hatsya’s group. The sentient AI entity spoke to himself,
“I think I should ask my creators for a machinima server. They’re really serious in doing in-game movies”
All of a sudden, the Grandmaster patted Eden’s shoulders, and replied,
“I hear you, Eden. I hear you. Looks like they deserve a machinima server, because if they keep doing their scenes in the real game server, they’ll keep losing EXP!”
“Say, why don’t we ask the players themselves if they want to?” the Grandmaster began supporting Eden’s suggestion.

Hatsumi's party were welcomed by gunshots all over the place. Hatsya opened up his skill book, and found out that he has few death-prone skills, and some more fencing skills to use.

Eisen suddenly punched Hatsya and ordered him,
“Hats, we’re being gunned down! Enough pondering about your feeble choices! Live with it!”
All of a sudden, Eisen got hit by the sniper, and Hatsya raised his rapier. Hatsya uttered the spell command,
“Shine Invisibles!”
Hatsya immediately drew a crossed circle to confirm the spell, and suddenly, a blinding bright shockwave struck the whole map, revealing hiding mobs around them. It turned out to be that their enemies in this stage are jet black armored marines bearing an icon that consisted of a red bear paw and yellow hammer at its palm.
“W-wait a minute, we’re fighting Neo-Russians?” Hatsumi is surprised.
“From what I’ve read before, the Neo-Russians came here first on this continent, and all of a sudden, alien natives of this planet, and other nations drove all of them away from this place” Hatsya briefly explained the Neo-Russians’ presence in this map.
Hatsya and Crio casted Etherize on their weapons, Evyll produced a full barrier that will cut down damages by 75% for only two minutes, for him as a healer to survive. Hatsumi immediately rushed towards the Neo-Russian ghost soldiers. She defied many of the gunshots that injured her chest and shoulders, and she clobbered one of the soldiers with her hammer. Evyll immediately healed Hatsumi’s and Eisen’s wounds, while also taking damage slightly.
The brave hammer-wielding girl, Hatsumi, spoke to Hatsya,
“Y’know Hats, these guys should be your killers for our MTV, as you’ll be of course playing as a young brave prince”
Eisen, Hatsya, Hotaru, and Crio rushed towards Hatsumi, then fought the Neo-Russian soldiers with all their might. Eisen remarked Hatsya,
“You might be fit for human-sized bosses, your fancy poking thing will do fine damage at least”
Crio swung his sword and sent the Neo-Russian soldiers upward. Hotaru cast Ember Shower and magically rained down ember bolts on them. Eisen, Hatsya, and Hatsumi went back to Evyll, and warded off more of the armored grunts. Eisen discouraged Hatsumi,
“You are fighting with a hammer alone, without a shield? Are you trying to be a brave damsel in distress? You better be holding bigger weapons then!”
Hatsumi turned down Eisen’s opinion and changed her fighting stance on-the-fly. She began kicking the soldiers’ chests and heads, and finished one of them with her hammer, right on the eyes. Eisen and Hatsya stood beside her, and then Hatsya suddenly drew a magic circle with his rapier. Upon creation, he thrusted his sword to the circle’s center and uttered,
“Radia-lumina Slash!”
His rapier’s blade turned into a long white energy deltoid-shaped blade, and he slashed a group of oncoming soldiers. Eisen and Hatsumi ducked, to avoid the skill’s potential ally-killing disadvantage.
“H-Hats, you have that big freaking sword skill? W-Why the hell didn’t use that skill in the first place, and letting yourself be our meat shield!” Eisen was surprised, with slight disappointment.
“It hogs lots of mana, and I’ll be open for attacks!” Hatsya yelled at Eisen.
After defeating the mobs in the area with the Radia-Lumina Slash, Hatsya felt weakened, that it wasted all of his Ether reserves, and worse, he got dizzy for unexplainable reasons. Hotaru suddenly laughed at the whole party,
“Wait a minute, are we supposed to shoot your MTV here? Seems that we all have fun dealing with the new creatures eh?”
Unknown to them, the stage boss spawned right beside Hatsya, which turned out to be a humanoid bear wearing a Neo-Russian heavy powered armor, wielding an electrified rapier, and shoulder-mounted 64mm repeating laser turrets. Eisen snidely commented,
“I think, that bear guy will suit your MTV!”
“B-but, we’re supposed to have a poisonous monster to kill Hatsya off for the play, but I think this bear guy might do more, since you guys are all here. It’ll be better if you guys fight it” Hatsumi rebutted.
Evyll spoke to the rest of the party,
“Okay, I’ll stay here, heal all of you, and this time, Hatsumi shall record your battles in first-person view. Make sure the boss must not reach Hatsumi, or we’ll have to re-shoot, and grind here again!”
The rest of the party members nodded at Evyll’s suggestion, and executed his plans accordingly.
Hatsumi stood slightly far away from the boss monster and watched them fighting the boss. Hotaru drew a magic circle on his hand, materialized a glowing rock, and he began throwing it on the boss’ head. Eisen brandished his spear on the boss, while the two magic sword users turned their swords into elemental energy swords for a brief period of time.
“Crio! Hatsya! Cut him from behind!” Eisen commanded the two, as he deal with the boss upfront.
The two magic fencers leaped forward and performed an Ether-powered rolling slash on the Neo-Russian Ursakommander’s laser turrets, but were later pushed away by the resilent mounted weapons’ attacks.
“Damn it, you forgot that it can attack anyone around due to his turrets! At this rate, Hatsumi, Hotaru, and I might be targeted!” Evyll warned the fighting party members.
“Hotaru, target the bear’s shoulders! Hatsya! Crio! Attack his sides! I’ll still be the bait Evyll, cast us barriers!!” Eisen commanded.
Evyll magically gave his party members a defensive barrier buff in a flash. He also helped the team by firing luminous element projectiles on the back of the bear boss in short bursts. Hotaru drank an Ether potion, and it restored spent Ethers. However, one of the laser turrets fired back on Hotaru, though he evaded them by doing cartwheels. The gigantic Neo-Russian Ursakommander growled loud on them, briefly disabling their actions, and opened Hotaru for offense. Two of the turrets are aimed at Hotaru, and gunned him down again. The feline magician lost nearly 65% of its hit-points, but was saved in a flash by Evyll’s healing spell. The giant bear boss finally noticed Crio and Hatsya, and he swiftly grabbed the two magic knights and sent them flying towards Eisen, causing severe damage. Evyll kept spamming heal spells on their hurt members, while Hotaru attempted to cast a slow but extremely powerful Ether art. Hotaru chanted,
“Gather around, sprites of the flames, your radiance is needed quell foul adversaries! Come forth, Ten-Sun Nova!”
After completing the chant, Hotaru raised his left arm, and felt like he threw an invisble grenade right beside the boss. Afterwards, a spectacularly bright, fiery and elaborate magical octagon appeared below the Ursakommander, serving as the targeted spot for Hotaru’s Ten-Sun Nova. A large explosion occurred at the designated target, the monster’s armor came off, the turrets fell on the floor, and some of the bear’s parts are wounded by the fiery ether blast. Still, he has his electrified rapier in hand.
“ARMOR DOWN! GO FINISH HIM OFF FOR GOOD!” Hotaru cried, as he collapsed, due to the spell’s after-effect, that the caster will lose large portions of HP and EP due to its complexity.
Crio and Hatsya etherize their weapons again and they clung onto its wounded forearm, then climbed their way towards its head. Eisen exclaimed,
“Time to apply Shadow of the Colossus techniques! This is gonna be exciting!”
Eisen joined the fray by repeatedly jabbing its knees with its spear, while Crio and Hatsya stabbed the eyes and ears of the Neo-Russian bear boss. Unfortunately, due to forced blindness, the monster began moving in random directions frantically, and shrugged the three off.
“Not as planned guys!” Eisen uttered, until the monster furiously waved its sword on Eisen, giving him a heavy electric-based damage.
All’s left for the fighting party were Crio and Hatsya, and all they could do now is to evade the enraged monster by constantly running, splitting directions to confuse the angered creature.
“I’m out of Ether potions, guys! You have to deal with it!” Evyll yelled to his surviving members. Unfortunately, the Neo-Russian Ursakommander unleashed a wave of electrocuted energy wave onto Evyll, electrocuting him to death.
“This will be our last chance, Crio! We’ll do a Radia-Slash!” Hatsya yelled at Crio, as he rushed towards the towering bloody humanoid bear from behind.
The two transformed their blades into extremely long energy blades, and the surrounded the bloody bear. Hatsya performed an overhand Radia-Slash on the monster’s back, and Crio cleaved the monster’s legs’ for good. The monster shed lots of blood, and it spun around till the monster hit the floor dead.
Everyone in the party, living and the defeated, gained items from the downed boss:
Eisen obtained a dark element-imbued Ox Tongue spear, a black leather Neo-Russian fur coat with blood red epaulets, and a rare-grade electric-imbued anima chip for upper clothing.
Hatsya acquired the boss’ infamous rapier, nicknamed the Tesla Fencer, and a rare agility-raising anima chip for lower clothing. The best feature for the mentioned chip is, it will enhance the user’s kick attacks with electric element.
Hatsumi acquired an anima chip that will imbue electric element on any blunt weapon with impact bonus; and she also gained a meteor hammer as well.
Crio acquired a rare-grade dark element Neo-Russian assault rifle, and an anima chip capable of hastening one’s spells when equipped on headgear.
Hotaru and Evyll gained black magical armored doves that can be used as magic-casting assistants, and they gained new spell books...
